On your first visit there will be a consultation, case history, and physical examination. We will take time to discuss your health concerns and evaluate your condition using orthopedic testing, neurological and muscle testing, range of motion, and postural and gait analysis.
At our chiropractic center our examination procedures are geared toward detection and correction of the "Vertebral Subluxation" (click on this link for more information on subluxations). While the spine is often a major focus, we may also evaluate the function of the hips, shoulders, legs, arms, hands, and feet.
Spinal X-rays may be taken depending on your age, and situation. There are many reasons why we would not take x-rays on certain patients including pregnancy, most children, recent usable spinal x-rays and some other various situations. Aside from these situations, x-rays are sometimes part of the examination process when evaluating for spinal dysfunction.
After the consultation, history, and examination the doctor will discuss the results of the exam. Treatment can occur immediately afterwards if appropriate.
Our Chiropractic Care utilizes the most modern chiropractic analytical, and adjustive procedures and equipment available. We consider subluxations to be a serious threat to the quality and quantity of your health and that of your family.
